Quaint fishing villages of Boscastle and Polperro. Neolithic standing stones and circles dating from 2000 BC. Two great country houses of Cornwall's history Cotehele and Lanhydrock, both in the care of the National Trust.

SPORTING ACTIVITIES
Riding on Bodmin Moor. Golf on at least three local courses including St Mellion. Sailing and windsurfing at nearby Siblyback Lake. Surfing on the South and North coasts. Shark fishing from nearby Looe.

NATURAL BEAUTY
A vast choice and variety of moor and woodland parks. Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor are nearby. Coastal footpaths and cliff top walks. A host of beautiful Cornish gardens that are open to the public at certain times of the year.

Don't miss the ‘Lost Gardens of Heligan' or the Eden Project both are within easy reach.

FOR CHILDREN
Farm and adventure parks, animal sanctuaries, beaches and boating on coasts, cycling along nature trails and woodland paths including the Camel Trail.

SHOPPING
A good choice of shops is to be found in Plymouth, Exeter and Truro with market shopping & antiques nearby in Liskeard and in Tavistock. A large Morrisons supermarket is only minutes away.
